Joe Jardine, Certified Financial Fiduciary®
Associate Wealth Advisor
My name is Joseph Jardine, and I am just starting my career in financial services with Cousino Wealth Advisors. Leading up to my career in finance I have explored a few different career paths. One of my roles was a golf instructor and the other was being a vacation rental manager for my dad’s business. These experiences provided me with valuable insights into customer service, management, and the importance of financial planning.
Despite enjoying these roles, I felt the need to further my education and pursue a career that could make a significant impact on peoples lives. I decided to leave the career I was in and I enrolled at Northwood University in 2021. Fast forward three years later I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in finance.
I met Mr. Cousino while I was still in college, and he showed me what financial planning was about. I was able to sit in on a few meetings with him and his clients. I really enjoyed the process of helping individuals meet their financial goals. After I graduated Mr. Cousino gave me the opportunity to work with him and his team. I have always had a passion for helping others, and now my goal is to assist individuals in pursuing their financial goals and foster confidence that they can live comfortably in retirement. This is what ultimately drove me to continue my education so I could be in a position to help others.
I currently hold my Series 7 and Series 66 with LPL Financial. I also plan on becoming a CFP. I have a lot of studying that is still ahead of me and I am able to balance that with some of my hobbies.
While I am not working or studying, I enjoy spending my time outdoors, particularly fishing. I have been fishing my whole life and it is one of my favorite things to do. Living in Northern Michigan I am able to fish for all sorts of species including bass, walleye, northern pike and musky. Fishing and exploring nature provide the perfect balance between my professional life that also allows me to stay connected to the natural world.
